The Clearly Business monthly retainer is designed for businesses requiring more regular business-as-usual legal support. It may suit you if legal questions frequently arise across commercial contracts, employment, data protection or routine corporate administration.
Support can include routine commercial agreements, employment contracts and policies, data protection documents and light corporate work as agreed. The exact work is always agreed with you before anything begins.
The Clearly Business monthly retainer starts from £495 per month. The exact monthly fee will depend on the number of hours and scope of support agreed with you.
The package starts with two hours of legal support each month. A larger monthly allocation can be agreed where your business requires more regular assistance.
No. Your agreed monthly time can be allocated across commercial, employment, data protection and agreed light corporate work according to your priorities.
Unused time can accrue within the same retainer year. Any time remaining at the end of that retainer year will expire unless otherwise agreed.
We will discuss the likely time and cost with you before carrying out work beyond your available hours. Additional work may be quoted or charged separately, or we can agree a larger monthly allocation. If you have any unused hours from previous months, you can put these towards the advice you need.
Clearly Business has an initial 12-month term. It renews automatically unless three months’ notice is given in accordance with our retainer terms.
No. Major transactions, restructures and investment work are not ordinarily included. These may be supported separately or through a Clearly Bespoke retainer.
No. However our agreement with you is for a minimum of 12 months. Your agreement will continue automatically unless you give us at least three months’ written notice prior to the end of a 12 month period.
