Regulation

Clearly Business Law Limited is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 10101116.

Clearly Business Law operates as a legal services provider and not a traditional solicitors/law firm. It is not authorised or regulated by the SRA.

Clearly Business Law does not conduct any of the following activities and is therefore not required to be authorised or regulated by the SRA:

1. Reserved legal services, i.e. the six specific legal services activities under the Legal Services Act 2007 that only those, such as law firms authorised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, can carry on, and which are:

• the exercise of a right of audience
• the conduct of litigation
• reserved instrument activities
• probate activities
• notarial activities
• the administration of oaths

2. Immigration services;

3. Claims management services; or

4. Regulated financial services.

We provide legal advice in non-contentious company, commercial, employment, intellectual property and data protection matters, which are not reserved activities.

Solicitors

Clearly Business Law currently employs the following solicitors; Tad Ostrowski, Alison Morjaria, Dallia Appleton, Emma Clist, Sara Mayhew, John Pegg and Rebecca Pugh and uses other solicitors and legally qualified staff as consultants.

Although Tad, Alison, Dallia, Emma, Sara, John and Rebecca are regulated by the SRA in their personal capacities, they and our other consultants are not practising as solicitors when providing services through Clearly Business Law.

Complaints

As Tad Ostrowski, Alison Morjaria, Dallia Appleton, Emma Clist, Sara Mayhew, John Pegg and Rebecca Pugh are all practising Solicitors, you have the right to refer any complaints about the services provided by either of them or any charges associated with such services to the Legal Ombudsman. Insurance

Clearly Business Law maintains professional indemnity insurance in the sum of £1,000,000. As Clearly Business Law is not regulated by the SRA we are not required to comply with the requirements that apply to firms of solicitors and any client of Clearly Business Law will not be able to make a claim on the SRA compensation fund.
